Through September 11th, the children
are studying "The Boy's Lunch". Through art, music, computers,
science, story time, cooking and vides (the rotational model), they learn
that Jesus accepted a boy's simple, yet generous gift of two fish and five
loaves of bread. Jesus blessed this gift and turned it into a feast
for ore than five thousand people. They are becoming acquainted with
the book of John and learning that it is one of the four Gospels.
Starting September 18th and running
through October 16th, we will begin studying "Signs of Faith". In this
study the children will learn that Christians created some of the symbols as
a way to express their faith. These symbols help us understand and
remember what we believe about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. We
will study the star, dove, fish and heart, cross and triangle. We will
be studying various scripture in Mathew and Mark.
The Jr. and Sr. High Sunday School is currently
incorporating Christian music in it's program, "Lyrics and Verses". This involves listening to the songs and discussing the
lyrics and studying Bible verses and stories related to the music. Artist information and music samples can be found
